JORDAN HENRY || ARCHITECTURE & ART

CONTINUAL DELAY

• A place to stop and feel the rhythm •

Designed as a journey, the prompt was to create an interactive museum, in which the only thing on display is a 22 foot long plank of wood. I decided to make the path move around the site like the flow of music, listening to the beat of the water flowing down the stepped waterfall. At the center of it all, I chose to turn the plank of wood into a piece of art. By doing this, I created tension and compression on the lower level and relaxation and release on the upper.
