A revisited second year project located in Jamestown, ND and intended to be used by the local university’s rowing club. Digitized and updated with modern passive strategies, this boathouse utilizes practices such as a double curtain wall and water cisterns to cut down on its energy use and environmental impact. Equipped with boat storage, a repair space, an exercise facility, offices and a flexible event space, the venue is perfect for hosting celebrations or tournaments of all kinds.
